Dance Costumes

In this section of APRA’S CLOSET, we stitch dance costumes for Indian Classical and semi-Classical forms for individual and group dancers.

Each costume is sculpted with utmost care to fulfill the meticulous needs, enhancing the contours of the figurate of the dancer.

Designing the costumes is based on the parameters of:

  1. Colour themes,
  2. Uses of different fabrics and textures to create desired effects,
  3. the themes of the performances,&
  4. Solo or group choreographies.

All these points are discussed with our highly coveted clients before stitching a costume.
Before designing, costumes are pencil-sketched, making it easy for the client to visualize the end result.
